This name card is designed so that, for people with visual impairments, the side without printed text, the side marked only with braille, becomes the front.

Depending on who is reading it, the front and back are reversed. I created this card with that intention in mind.

The braille embossing was done by Cocoro Skip(ココロスキップ). Because braille can be read as having a completely different meaning if it is turned upside down, they explained that cutting the top-right corner helps the reader identify the correct orientation.

Cocoro Skip(ココロスキップ), who embossed the braille on these cards, is also a project in which visually impaired people do the braille embossing themselves as paid work.

It may be a small initiative, but I hope that one day all name cards will include braille.
