To observe and to draw.
This is the starting point of all creative practice.
Seeing is not limited to standing still at a fixed point and understanding space through the rules of perspective. By observing a subject from every possible angle—including distance, scale, psychological presence, texture, and even smell—we accumulate information, deepen our understanding, and open the door to discovery and new ideas.
Memory and drawing are closely connected. In an age saturated with digital images viewed through screens, this course encourages students to reconsider what it truly means to see. Through a series of assignments, students develop the ability to observe from multiple perspectives and cultivate the expressive skills needed to translate what they perceive into their own visual language.
Rather than focusing solely on technical drawing skills, the course aims to help students discover their own means of expression and expand the possibilities of their creative practice.
