As I looked back through all the film photos I’ve taken so far, I felt as if the past few years of my life were quietly reflected in them.
Over these years, I’ve moved between Korea and Japan—dreaming, watching those dreams change, seeing some come true, and sometimes living as if still inside a dream.
In every moment I couldn’t ignore, my camera was with me.
Airports, especially, became symbolic places for me.
They were places I always had to pass through—whether going to Japan from Korea or returning the other way.
Airports became intersections between reality and dreams, and the emotions I felt there were always different.
Those shifting feelings appeared in my photos too, so whenever a photo taken at an airport appears, the sequence shifts—from Korea to Japan, or from Japan to Korea.
After much thought, I carefully selected 30 photographs: 15 from Korea and 15 from Japan.
Each page can be torn out and used as a postcard.
I also spent a long time thinking about the title.
(Unmissable Landscapes, 2 and a Half Hours, At the Airport, Untitled, No Title...)
But in the end, I decided not to give it a title.
Because what I’ve learned over the past few years is that it’s okay for things to remain uncertain.
Maybe the small line I added for copyright purposes will become the title in its own quiet way.
There are still so many scenes I can’t pass by.
So I’ll keep taking photographs.
